Cruise to Catalina Island

Having picked you up in your hotel, we’ll make our way to the La Romana port where we’ll take a catamaran packed with entertainment all the way to Catalina Island. 

We’ll make a stop at a nearby coral reef, where we can try our hand at snorkelling and discover the stunning Caribbean. Then, following this stop, we’ll make our way to Catalina Island.

Once we’ve dropped anchor, you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy the beaches at your own pace. If you’re a fan of the undersea world, you can grab the snorkel again, or if you’re more of a beach bum you can just relax on the fine sand, soaking up the rays.

Then towards midday, we’ll fuel up with a buffet lunch, including rices, pastas, chicken, salads, friut and more. And you’ll have an open bar of water, soft drinks and rum!

Then in the afternoon, we’ll head back to La Romana, leaving you back in your hotel between 6 and 7 pm.

Chocolate Workshop in Punta Cana


We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and take you to a culinary centre to enjoy an immersive three-hour gastronomic experience. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mamajuana, a traditional Dominican drink – cheers! After toasting to an excellent day, our instructor will give us a brief explanation on the history of chocolate.

Once the theoretical part is over, it’ll be time to put what we’ve learnt into practice and begin our cooking class. Guided by the instructor, we’ll prepare mouth-watering chocolate recipes – will you be able to resist snacking on the ingredients?

At the end of the chocolate workshop, we’ll return to Punta Cana and drop you off back at your hotel.

What will we make?

When making your reservation, you’ll have the choice between the following two workshops: chocolate truffles or chocolate bark.

Chocolate truffles workshop

Learn to make delicious chocolate truffles, a very simple recipe that requires the special moulds for the ball shape and of course, good cocoa. After preparing them and cooling them, it’ll be time to taste your handmade treats!

This workshop takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Chocolate bark workshop

What is chocolate bark, you ask? They’re flat slabs of chocolate topped with different tasty ingredients like hazelnuts, pistachos, candy… and anything else you could possibly imagine! You’ll be able to decorate the bark to your liking, before heating it in the oven. Then, after it’s cooled again, it’ll be time to taste – irresistible!

This workshop is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Los Haitises Day Trip

Having picked you up at your hotel we’ll make our way to the Los Haitises National Park, found in the Samaná Bay.

The tour begins with a cruise of the Caño Hondo river, where we’ll discover a fairytale landscape filled with mangrove forests, hidden caverns, and rocky promontories. The cruise continues along the equally stunning landscapes of San Lorenzo and Samaná.

Back on firm ground, the tour explores caves in the jungle where the indigenous peoples made petrographs which are still being studied today. We’ll walk the trails of the Los Haitises National Park, admiring the great ecological wealth of the natural reserve where manatees, pelicans, boa constrictors and turtles abound.

At midday we’ll fuel up with a typical Dominican lunch consisting of fried fish, grilled meats and vegetables. Then you can enjoy a mud bath after which you’re sure to feel born again: the best way to end a fascinating tour!

The tour finishes back at your hotel.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at the chosen time, and following a 15-minute journey we’ll arrive at the Punta Cana dock, where a private boat will be waiting for you! Your captain will welcome you, you’ll climb aboard, and set sail around the Caribbean!

This private boat will take you to one of the most idyllic spots on the Dominican coast – the famous Piscina Natural (Natural Pool). In this stunning corner of the country you can enjoy a refreshing dip in unforgettable surroundings. And we’ll give a snorkel to each one of you, to explore the marine depths with.

And if you’ve worked up a thirst (or hunger) not to worry! You’ll have access to an open bar in the Music Open Bar at the pool. Among the drinks on offer are Rum, Beer, Sprite, Coca-Cola and mineral water. And you’ll also have fried banana, fruit and applie pie to snack on!

Then along with your captain, you’ll sail back from the natural pool to the Punta Cana dock, where the minibus will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel. Arrival back at the hotel is due to take place after three hours enjoying the natural pool.

Excursion by Catamaran

When making your reservation, you can also choose to take part in the activity on board a catamaran. The route taken is similar to that of the standard option.

Boat Capacity

Each boat (both normal and catamaran) has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers, plus the captain who will be the one to pilot the boat. The boat is 21 feet long and the catamaran 36.

Timetable

  • The excursion by boat takes place at 9 am and 2 pm.
  • The excursion by catamaran takes place at 7 am, 10 am and 1 pm

ATV Adventure in Punta Cana


We’ll come and pick you up from your hotel at the time of your choice and we’ll travel to a ranch in the countryside. You’ll feel like you’re on a safari- but don’t get too comfortable, because we’ll arrive in just 20 minutes.

Once there, the local guides will explain how to safely drive these quad bikes, and then it’ll be time to take to the wheel and explore the Punta Cana scenery.

You’ll drive through cane sugar plantations and farmland until reaching Macao Beach, where you’ll be able to take a well-deserved rest on the white sand or even take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. Can you think of a better way to spend a day?

We’ll then take the off-road vehicles once again and drive to a typical house. Once there, you’ll be greeted by locals who will show you how they make the region’s three most typical products: coffee, tobacco and cacao. Before we leave, you’ll also be able to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or some Mama Juana, the country’s most traditional drink.

The final destination on this ATV adventure will be at the well-known and loved Taína Cave. We’ll head inside and discover an underground water source. You’ll have never seen anything like this before! Plus, you’ll get to jump in and swim in the turquoise waters.

Finally, we’ll drive the 4×4 quads back to the ranch and then we’ll return to your hotel in Punta Cana.

Monkeyland Trip

Between 7 am and 8 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Punta Cana and travel to the interior of the Dominican Republic in a fabulous safari truck!

Our first stop is at La Casa del Coco: an agro-food center where we will taste traditional Dominican products. You will try coconut oil, chocolate, coffee, and fresh seasonal fruits. We will also observe how some of these foods are cultivated.

Then we continue on our journey to Monkeyland where the friendly Dominican squirrel monkeys are waiting for us. We will interact with these playful mammals and have the opportunity to feed them. They love to be close to humans!

During the 45-minute tour of Monkeyland, we will also learn about some of the squirrel monkeys’ habits. We will discover their feeding, breeding, and living habits, and we are sure you will be amazed!

After visiting Monkeyland, we will return to your hotel in Punta Cana where arrival is scheduled for 12:45 pm.

Montana Redonda Trip


We will pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana between 7 am and 8 am. Once onboard the minibus, we will drive to the Montaña Redonda, one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean country.

After an hour by road, we will arrive at the foot of Montaña Redonda, in Miches, where we take a ride in a powerful 4×4 vehicle to the summit of this beautiful mountain. At the top, you will enjoy amazing panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Do you dare to ride on the swing at 1000 feet high up?

You will have a unique view of the bay of Samaná, the Redonda lagoon, and the coastline. We will also see the sunrise beautifully reflected on the water. After, we will enjoy a delicious traditional Dominican lunch accompanied by tropical fruits.

After this, we’ll head back to the city and drop you at your hotel at 12 am.
